Job Description

A fully qualified Practitioner with relevant experience qualified and educated level 6 or 7 in minor injuries/minor illness.

We are seeking Advanced or Emergency Practitioners from a Nursing/Paramedic background who are committed to working as part of our Urgent Care Team to deliver an excellent and caring service to our patients.

We have a multidisciplinary workforce which consists primarily of Advanced Clinicians and Emergency Practitioners trained in both adult and paediatric disciplines whom are supported by GPs.

As part of our commitment to you we will offer and support your development towards advanced practice under the guidance of a robust competency framework via experiential learning and development. We are committed to enhancing our service through high levels of training and development at both Degree and Masters Levels.

The main patient groups are patients with minor injury and minor who present to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners/Clinicians withan undifferentiated diagnosis through a process of assessment formulation of a clinical management plan and subsequently discharge or transfer for definitive care.

The positions are full-time or part-time. We are a 7 day per week 365 days per year service and we are looking for Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings/weekends. Our shifts range from 7.5 hours 12.5 hours and as we understand the need for flexible working we are also open to discussing hours that suit you.

Do you have/are you;

Experience as an Emergency Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner or relevant specialist assessment practitioner skills
Qualified to level 6 or above in minor injuries and or illness
A passion for delivering high quality patient care
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to deliver safe effective and compassionate care
A commitment to continual personal and professional development
