Plans and conducts project assessments of hazardous wild land fuels. Must be knowledgeable of computers and fuels software maps plant physiology forest biology related physical sciences sampling techniques data management compass or GPS navigation standard fuels/fire management methods and techniques. Additional duties include but are not limited to cleaning the building and equipment used meeting training sessions and wild land fire fighting.
Requirements
Maintain a Valid Oregon Drivers License and be insurable is required. Submit and pass a criminal background with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Must be able to pass medical exam and arduous pack test. Obtained High School Diploma or GED. Qualified as Fire Effects Monitor or qualify w/in 2 years of hire date. Qualify as FFT2 or w/in 18 months of hire date and taking the S290.
