Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned IT Segment Manager to oversee the strategic technology needs and delivery for one or more business segments. This role is accountable for shaping and executing technology strategies aligned with business goals maintaining roadmap ownership ensuring delivery accountability and fostering crossfunctional collaboration between business and IT functions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership strategic planning financial management and stakeholder engagement capabilities to drive impactful business outcomes through technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Planning

    • Partner with senior business leaders and enterprise architecture teams to develop and execute multiyear technology roadmaps.

    • Ensure roadmaps are aligned with business goals with buyin from both business and IT delivery partners.

  • Project Delivery & Execution

    • Own the endtoend delivery of technology initiatives across the business segment including resource planning project governance milestone tracking and risk management.

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional delivery teams including application development infrastructure QA and vendor partners to ensure timely and highquality delivery.

  • Technology Leadership

    • Act as a thought leader for the business segment on technology trends innovation and strategic direction.

    • Ensure architectural alignment and leverage enterprise platforms and capabilities effectively.

  • Financial Management

    • Drive financial transparency across IT operations and initiatives including labor and nonlabor cost planning forecasting and budget tracking.

    • Monitor actuals vs. forecast and ensure financial accountability within the segment.

  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management

    • Evaluate and prioritize business drivers translate them into actionable IT initiatives and communicate technology direction clearly to business and IT stakeholders.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to business executives on technology capabilities constraints and opportunities.

  • Team Management & Accountability

    • Manage a team of direct reports and/or subordinate managers responsible for segmentspecific technology initiatives.

    • Foster a culture of accountability performance and professional growth within the team.

    • Ensure that team members are executing their roles in alignment with assigned responsibilities.

  • Governance & Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with internal governance data protection and regulatory requirements.

    • Champion IT best practices and contribute to enterprisewide process improvement initiatives.

  • Additional Duties

    • Support adhoc strategic technology initiatives as required.

    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles with a focus on technology strategy program delivery and business engagement.

  • Proven experience managing largescale technology initiatives and teams.

  • Experience working in a matrixed enterprise IT environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master s Degree or MBA is a plus.

  • Experience with ARGO or POS systems in a businesscritical environment.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and agile delivery practices.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multimillion dollar IT budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Deep business acumen with the ability to connect technology strategy to business outcomes.
