Senior Application Management Engineer with German

Our client a prominent player in the financial sector based in Frankfurt has partnered with Accesa for nearly four years. The project centers focus on providing comprehensive application support including maintenance monitoring and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve applicationrelated incidents within agreed service levels including performing root cause analysis and implementing longterm fixes

• Application Monitoring: Monitor the performance and health of applications using tools to identify and address issues proactively before they impact users

• User Support: Provide technical support to endusers troubleshooting issues and guide them through problemsolving processes

• Team collaboration: Work closely with development infrastructure and business teams to ensure applications are aligned with business needs and meet servicelevel agreements

• Security Compliance: Ensure that applications comply with security standards and policies including managing user access controls and performing security assessments

Qualifications :

Must have:

• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Linux or Unix

• Basic knowledge with databases like SQL Server Oracle or MySQL

• Familiarity with application servers like Apache Tomcat

• Proficiency with ITSM tools and processes such as ServiceNow Jira Service Management and a solid understanding of ITIL practices for managing and delivering IT services

• Proficiency in German (B2/C1) and English both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Handson experience with application deployment processes including CI/CD pipelines release management with tools like Gitlab Jenkins (CB Flow) ensuring smooth transitions from development to production

• Experience with application deployment CI/CD pipelines and release management using tools like GitLab and Jenkins (CB Flow)

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk Grafana or similar

• Basic Google Cloud knowledge
