Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education
Associates Degree in Accounting Finance Information Systems Computer Science Nursing Health Care Compliance or a related field required
Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Information Systems Computer Science Nursing Health Care Compliance or a related field preferred
Experience
4 years of experience in Healthcare Compliance or related Healthcare field including Regulations or Audit required
Equivalent combination of education and related experience may be substituted for the education and experience requirements
Licenses and Certifications
One of the following is preferred
o CHC Certified Healthcare Compliance
o CCEP Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional
o CCS Certified Coding Specialist
o CMAS Certified Medical Audit Specialist
o CPMA Certified Professional Medical Auditor
o CPC Certified Professional Coder
o COC Certified Outpatient Coder
o CIC Certified Inpatient Coder
o RHIA Registered Health Information Administrator
o RHIT Registered Health Information Technician
