Job Description
Our 3 Extrusion machines feed over 30 Thermoforming lines this role is to join our experienced and dedicated team to run our stateoftheart Extrusion Lines that produce in excess of 700 Tons of rPet Sheet per week using over 300 Tons of recycled bottles in the process.
- Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Following with the extrusion plan
- Changing material blends to match planned recipes
- Booking rolls onto the companys stock control system and labelling product directly
- Carry out basic maintenance of extrusion machinery such as roller and die cleaning and vacuum system maintenance
- Working with your team to maintain a clean safe working area adhering to strict housekeeping rules
- Setting up & maintaining efficient running of the extrusion lines
- Quality sampling of finished sheet focussing on gauge clarity and slip properties
- Supporting achievement of department KPIs with regards to Output Waste and Quality Rejects
Qualifications :
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team that works together to ensure production plans are met and quality sheet is always produced. Wed like:
Technical/Mechanical aptitude
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to take & follow instructions
Previous extrusion experience would be beneficial not essential
