Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity

The Practicum Placement Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating the practicum experiences of our training health professionals. This position requires a blend of customer service administrative interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure that students are successfully placed in practicum sites that align with their academic and professional goals. The Practicum Placement Coordinator serves as a liaison between educational institutions practicum sites Faculty members and students fostering partnerships and ensuring a seamless practicum placement process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Administer assist and coordinate student clinical placements:
  • Managing and building working relationships with existing clinics as well as establishing new relationships with prospective clinics 
  • Contacting students and clinics to organise placements
  • Organising student assessment and completion requirements 
  • Collecting and recording student result documentation to deadline 
  • Organising payments to clinics students and accommodation 

This is a fulltime (37.5 hours/ week) 14month fixed term position

Remuneration range is $62400 $73379 per annum dependent on skills and experience
