GSF Properties Inc. is looking for an Accounting Office Assistant for our Corporate Office in Fresno CA!
Duties and Responsibilities of the Accounting Office Assistant:
Accounts Payable prepares and processes invoices check requests manual
checks and weekly check disbursements; enters invoices into SAGE
(accounting program) for assigned apartment complexes.
Ensures invoices are turned in with the proper approvals and notes.
Assigns general ledger account codes to invoices.
Maintains accurate records and complete documentation for all transactions.
Provides guidance regarding invoices to resident managers and other
personnel.
Assumes responsibility for effectively researching tracking and resolving
(or properly referring) invoice problems and discrepancies.
Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey
information and/or to correct transactions.
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
Responsible to keep up with office related software for job development and
productivity due to new technology.
Ensures communication is clear precise and professional through emails and
notes.
