Short Description
JOB DESCRIPTION ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) LEAD Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Lead APNs will be responsible to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical practice and organizational systems to drive processimprovement and positive outcomes.This role will support Cooper Experience team member engagement and education and quality outcomes for the organization.
Provide high quality efficient medical care to patients in the inpatient Hospitalist medical service as an Advanced Practice Nurse in collaboration with Hospitalist Attending Physicians with a goal to proactively move patients through the system to aid in hospital throughput.
Lead APNs will be responsible for general oversight of the Hospitalist APPs including education communication and engagementquality initiatives and scheduling of staff.
Experience Required
Minimum of 18 months working as Licensed Advanced Practice Provider.
Education Requirements
MSN Nursing or Physician Assistant is required
License/Certification Requirements
NJAPN or PA license and AHA BLS certification is required
