The Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is the Universitys most senior information technology leader overseeing a team of over 300 staff to provide clientfocused IT services to all University employees. As a member of the Corporate Services senior leadership team the CDO also serves as a key adviser to the Universitys Executive Group.
A core responsibility of the CDO is to develop and implement the Universitys IT and Digital Strategy which is a vital enabler of the broader institutional strategy. To achieve this the CDO leads the Digital Solutions team ensuring the delivery of highquality efficient and responsive technology services that meet the evolving needs of stakeholders. The role has a strong emphasis on driving digital transformation strengthening cyber resilience fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring disciplined management of IT investments and value delivery.
This role also plays a crucial part in the Universitys fraud and corruption control efforts. The CDO is expected to be wellversed in the Universitys Fraud and Corruption Control Framework and is accountable for effectively managing the relevant prevention detection and reporting controls within their area of responsibility.

This is a full time fiveyear fixed term senior contract and is based at Brisbane South (Nathan). This position sits on the Corporate Services executive team and will come with robust support from a strong leadership team as well as day to day support from a highly regarded Executive Officer.
