Position Summary:
RLM Underground seeks an organized and detailoriented Utility Locates Specialist to join our team in Fenton MI. This is a FT desk job! This position is responsible for submitting large quantities of 811 utility locating requests for our construction projects in multiple states. Utility locating requests include significant followup. You will work closely with our Construction Managers to ensure tickets are maintained and valid throughout the course of each project. Our Construction Managers rely on our locates to proceed with any work in the field as this position drives the production of the company.
Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- Online training for utility portal request submission
- 811 utility locating request submission via phone or online
- Extension of tickets online &/or by phone
- Maintaining a fluctuating and reliable project calendar
- Assisting in the escalation of nonresponses from utilities
- Collaboration with multiple Construction Managers
- Continual communication and followthrough on all tasks
Job Type: Full time direct hire
Pay Rate: $17$20 per hour

Additionally we have a 401K plan with company matching after 60 days of employment as well as paid paternity and maternity leave after 12 continuous months of employment.
Qualifications:
- 811 Utility locate submission experience is a bonus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Be able to learn and adapt to new software systems
- Organized selfreliant proactive and detail oriented
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
