Now Hiring: Service Writer
Location:Hubbard OR
Pay: Competitive based on experience
Schedule: Fulltime
Bilingual Preferred
We are seeking a Service Writer to join our team at a farm equipment sales and rental company. This role is essential in providing service advice and guiding customers through the service process.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist with inquiries in person or by phone
Perform equipment walkarounds and document customer concerns for technician diagnostics
Create process and bill customer repairs in the operating system
Consult with customers on service specials and hourly fees
Schedule service calls and inform service employees of appointments
Generate reports for the Service Manager regarding work in progress
Collect payments for completed repairs
Work with and submit insurance claims for authorization or payment
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
12 years of previous service writer experience
Ability to interpret written and oral instructions effectively
Capable of lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
Bilingual skills preferred
