What is the compensation
Pay Rate: $11.00 $13.00 per hour. Payment will be by direct deposit.

What will I do
Plan organize and supervise recreation activities associated with the Summer Day Camp program.
Supervise youth attending the camp.
Operate within the guidelines of budgets.
Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain reports records and equipment inventory.
Explain and enforce rules and regulations.
Assist other staff members and the public as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
What are the hours and duration
Approximately 1520 hours per week Monday Friday 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm with potentially longer hours on field trip days. Position is needed from June to August 2025.
What are the physical and environmental factors
This is outdoor recreation work requiring lifting of objects up to 50 pounds and possible exposure to adverse weather conditions and high stress situations or environments including contact with the public in confrontational or uncomfortable circumstances.
What is the selection process
Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted with the first screening being held on May 27 2025. Applicants mustmeet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.
If selected for hire candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Nondisclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
