Job Description
- You will be responsible for designing Data Engineering solutions and drive customer conversations to onboard them on the Architecture and Engineering solutions that are proposed.
- You will also be responsible for guide existing Data Engineering implementations in design develop maintaining and testing data solutions with a wide variety of data platforms including relational databases big data platforms and nosql databases.
- You will collaborate with BI visualization experts Industry SMEs Data scientists and client Experts to drive data related projects. You will be responsible to respond to any presales/solutions on Data Engineering space.
- You will develop various data ingestion transformation routines to acquire data from external data sources.
- You will be involved in securing access to the data based on appropriate rights implementing data quality routines and mechanisms to flag bad data for correction and building QA and automation frameworks to monitor daily ingestion of data and provide alerts on errors and other problems.
Qualifications :
- BTech or BE
- 17 years of experience in a Data Engineering/Architecture or similar role BE/ or Advanced degree in a relevant field (Computer Science and Engineering Technology and related fields)
- Expertise in architecting and designing for Data Solutions Security Constraints Resiliency HighAvailability Fault Tolerance and Scalability Strong experience in implementing Data Lake/Data Hub solutions on cloud(Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Strong experience with various architecture patterns like Data lake EDW Data Mesh Data Vault Had participated in creating Enterprise Architecture and Solutioning Efforts to Define and Develop Big Data Components Strong presales/solutions experience on Data Engineering opportunities Actively help organization in creating new frameworks/accelerators for Data Engineering space Deep Knowledge of Best Practices Through Relevant Experience Across DataRelated Disciplines and Technologies Particularly For EnterpriseWide Data Architectures Data Management Data Governance And Data Warehousing Establish governance and enforce quality standards for cloud software and infrastructure architectures (IaaS PaaS and SaaS)
- Experience in cloud replication strategies and architecture as well as promoting a DevOps culture within the organization to support the CI/CD deployment process.
- Architect data integrations solutions in both batch and realtime to support functional and nonfunctional requirements of data projects.
- Architect and design solutions to advance data quality metadata data security and data integration.
- Strong knowledge of what works and what doesnt.
- This includes common pitfalls and mistakes when designing a data pipeline Identify evaluate and introduce new technology components to support the advancement of new business capabilities.
- Excellent knowledge of data technologies including traditional (RDBMS) nontraditional (NoSQL) platforms and BigData platforms Strong Data Modelling experience. Experience with Data Modeling tools (Erwin Rdbms & Nosql) & Data Virtualization (Denodo Tibco) Establish and maintain policies and data standards.
- Experience working with API data integration Proven success in communicating with client counterparts technical teams and senior management to collect user requirements describe data modelling decisions and data engineering strategy.
- Support teams to implement architected solutions.
