- Ensure all staff on the floor are meeting and exceeding Rimrock standards of guest satisfaction and service
- Provide leadership problem solving and decision making in all areas of daily operations
- Provide ongoing training motivating and supervision of staff
- Handle guest requests and complaints and authorize compensation when necessary
- Provide floor support when business levels require including seating guests expediting food preparing and serving beverages conducting quality checks etc.
- Work to achieve sales projections
- Assist in creating work schedules within budget
- Participate in menu and function planning
- Attend weekly F&B department manager meetings
- Complete office duties
- Provide employee discipline when necessary and complete required documentation
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in an a la carte restaurant or lounge
- Postsecondary education in hospitality / tourism in an asset
- Alberta ProServe certification
- Comfortable using MS Office POS and tablebooking software
- Knowledgeable in a variety of cocktails liquor wine and beer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
