Our flagship campus is in Sydney Australia but we engage our Contractors all over the world to help us meet our crazy big goals. As a Contractor at Canva you can work remotely in from anywhere listed in the job ad location. meaning you have ultimate flexibility. Wherever works for you works for us. Please note this is a 6month contract with fulltime hours.

What youd be doing in this role

Were looking for a driven and detailoriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) with Contract Administration experience to join the Space Creation Team delivering highperformance workplace construction projects for Canva. Youll be part of a dynamic project delivery team responsible for managing commercial fitouts and new office spaces that reflect Canvas unique brand and workplace culture.

• This role is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in construction project management who thrives in fastpaced environments and has a passion for both the technical and administrative sides of project delivery. In terms of what you will learn and how you will grow at Canva:
• Youll gain handson experience delivering highimpact workplace projects in a dynamic fastpaced environment balancing design intent with operational needs.
• Youll develop strong crossfunctional collaboration skills by working closely with internal stakeholders contractors and consultants across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Youll build deep knowledge of endtoend project delivery from feasibility and procurement through to construction handover and postoccupancy review.

Were looking for a motivated individual who is able to take responsibility for tasks and can work independently as well as working well within a team environment. The ideal candidate would have:

• You have experience in project coordination contract administration or assistant project management within the construction or commercial fitout industry
• You have experience from clientside or contractorside
• You have demonstrated ability to deliver projects in occupied workplace environments
• You have familiarity with construction contract frameworks including AS 4905 AS 4915 AS 4000
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Project Excel and construction management platforms such as Procore and Aconex
• You have excellent organisational communication and stakeholder management skills
• You have a proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and effective problemsolving skills
• You have a Bachelors degree in Construction Management Project Management Architecture Engineering or a related discipline
