Position Summary
A Family Support Worker with OHB assists both youth and their families of those youth being removed from their care. The Family Support Worker assists clients wellbeing by providing resources educating families and individuals working with youth to be able for the youth to be returned to their families. The Family Support Worker will work in a collaborative manner with Clinicians and the full Stabilization Team referral sources and using a team approach in order to provide quality services for all clients. Family Support will keep records in compliance with company and agency policies and procedures. This position spends the majority of their time in the community and client homes. The impact of this position with OHB will provide a sense of making a difference in each clients life to help build the community around them.
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week; you set your own schedule to meet the needs of clients - Will work at least 2 evenings per week no later than 7 pm
- Potential to work no more than 3 hours Saturday or Sunday if client needs a weekend appointment time
Wage: $18.50 Per Hour up to $20 an hour based on years of experience and/or bilingual

Required Experience: - Must be 21 years of age.
- Required Bachelors Degree in Social Work Counseling Human Services Psychology Criminal Justice related field or an Associates degree in Human Services or related field and 2 Years of experience.
- Must be able to work evening hours and weekend day hours to meet the needs of clients scheduling.
- Ability to effectively interact with sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in the organizations service population both individually and in groups.
- Must possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record and current auto insurance and the ability to pass an extensive background check including drug screen.
