Job Description
PARTTIME LIBRARIANS/TEACHERS
Vacancies exist for parttime librarians/teachers for the Elementary Summer Library Program which will be held at Bedington Elementary Berkeley Heights Elementary Gerrardstown Elementary Hedgesville Elementary Rosemont Elementary and Valley View Elementary two days per week from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM (work day). Preference will be given to applicants possessing the following:
1. West Virginia teacher certification in library/media science or elementary education
2. Existing staff at the aforementioned schools in which the Elementary
Summer Library Program will be held
3. Staff with previous experience in the Elementary Summer Library
Program
EMPLOYMENT TERM: June 17 2025 July 10 2025 (two days per week plus one planning session)
WORK HOURS: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM
SALARY: $200.00 per session
Specialized Skills
West Virginia teacher certification in library media or elementary education. Preference will be given to applicants possessing the following: 1) Existing staff at the aforementioned schools in which the Elementary Summer Library Program will be held 2) Staff with previous experience in the Elementary Summer Library Program.
