Job Summary:
The Welder will perform these duties as outlined by the OneH2 work instructions quality assurance procedures and assembly drawings. Inprocess inspections will be performed prior to completion of welding operations. Materials: 50% Low Carbon Steel & 50% Stainless Steel.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate materials from blueprints and/or hand drawings using raw material.
- MIG / TIG welding for Aluminum Stainless Steel and Cold Rolled Steel on Tubing and Sheet Metal.
- Notifies Lead Supervisor or Management of problems which affect the production/quality of parts.
- Completes all assignments in a timely manner and meets production delivery schedules.
- Set up prefitted parts for welding use hand tools clamps jigs and fixtures.
- Assuring all welding is performed and documented in compliance with all quality control policies.
- Maintaining traceability requirements by completing required documentation.
- Cleaning and maintaining welding equipment.
- Adheres to all safety practices and reports any unsafe conditions broken or malfunctioning equipment.
- Assures all items on the inventory list are logged in.
- Check parts and enters measurements on the First Article Inspection Report when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill and Qualifications:
- 2 5 years experience in TIG & MIG welding.
- Indepth knowledge and understanding of welding operations.
- Indepth knowledge of product quality and welding specifications.
- Ability to set up operate calibrate and maintain assembly and welding equipment and tools.
- Ability to recognize and address problems in the assembly process.
