Job Description

The National Field Trainer Migraine is responsible for facilitating training programs across all phases of training and developing maintaining and implementing training content and programs. This position reports to the Associate Director of Sales Training Migraine. 

Contributions to the Migraine sales teams success is achieved through proactively partnering with key stakeholders across various departments including the sales training team marketing sales leadership and enterprise training teams to create and implement training materials and programs. These materials and programs address identified field sales needs support key marketing initiatives enhance product knowledge improve overall selling skills and support the ongoing developmental needs of the Migraine sales team. 

Responsibilities  

  • Facilitate all Migraine training classes Insights Discovery and RD/DM meetings in both live and virtual environments. 
  • Mentor coach and develop newly hired sales representatives during the new representative training program. 
  • Participate in and at times lead the design development and implementation of training programs and NM workshops.  
  • Partner with key stakeholders including sales training team marketing team and field sales leaders to ensure training content is relevant for all training needs across all phases of training. 
  • Participate in and at times lead submission of training materials through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory/Compliance process to ensure all materials are up to date reflect current strategic imperatives and are approved.  
  • Manage agendas and learning curriculum within digital learning platforms in partnership with the training team digital learning team and Migraine Training Associate Director to ensure agendas content and curriculum within digital platforms are current for all training classes.  
  • Consistently assess training and development needs of the sales force through developing and maintaining relationships with sales leadership. Develop training resources relevant to those needs to ensure the longterm development of the Migraine sales team.  
  • Build and leverage connections with enterprise training colleagues to enhance the department and enterprisewide training programs. 
  • Travel requirements for the role consist of periodic travel for departmentrelated meeting participation and RD/DM and NM facilitation. 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3 years of field sales experience in pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience
  • Strong clinical expertise in Migraine preferred
  • Experience in presenting and facilitating to groups of various sizes and tenure. 
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. CFR 210/211 cGMP)
  • Project management experience and/or proven ability to manage in a matrixed organization
  • Top performance in current role is required (top 50% salesforce performance sustained over time; top 25% preferred) with current supervisor recommendation
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals at all levels of management to develop partnerships and align training with the business strategy
  • Proven ability to integrate business trends brand strategies and marketplace drivers into plans that drive competitive advantage to the organization
  • Preferred: Rotational Trainer District Sales Trainer or Guest Trainer experience

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.   • This job is eligible to participate in our shortterm incentive programs.
