Pay Rate: Starting $7.35/HR
Atrium Hospitality is currently recruiting a Banquet Bartender for our Banquets department. Join a team of Embassy Suites employees who are passionate about servicing guests one another all while taking care of the people who make it happen our associates. The hotel has 283 suites and has 6000 sq. ft. of event space. It is conveniently located in Norman with less than 30minute commute to and from the center of Oklahoma City.

Why Banquets
Banquet Associates are the bread and butter of our meeting and event operation. The primary purpose of the Banquet Server/Setup is to provide our guests with an excellent banquet experience. With the opportunity to witness and work with all the exciting groups we host in our convention center; no day is the same in our banquets department. If you love spontaneity this is the department for you!
Work Performed:
TheBanquet Bartenderis tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverageswhile following standard recipes to ensure established control systems arefollowed.
- Promote food and beveragesales.
- Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously servingguests.
- Perform side duties such as cleaning garnish preparation miscellaneous preparation stockingetc.
- Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time complete closingduties.
- Ensure the cleanliness of thebar.
- Comply with all liquor laws health regulations and companypolicies.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidentsinjuriesand unsafe work conditions tomanagement.
- Allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
- Previous customer service experience.
Preferred Prior Experience:
- 6 months of bartending experience.
- Prior bar and/or restaurant experience.
Preferred Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Required Licenses/ Certification:
- Cleveland County Food Handler Certification Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License TIPs/RServing/ServSafe.
- Alcohol or equivalent alcohol server certification acquired upon hire during onboarding.
Physical:
- Ability to lift pull and push up to 50poundsregularly.
- Ability to bend and squat repeatedly.
- Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift.
Availability:
- Flexible towork dayshifts early mornings eveningsnightsweekends and holidays.
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
