What you will do
The Value and Access Manager (V&A) will be a strategic member of the local Value Access and Policy team team reporting directly to the Value Access & Policy Lead.
This position will support the Amgen portfolio using strong analytics and crossfunctional management.
The Value and Access Manager will
- Advice on the best access strategy for our upcoming launches and current portfolio
- Ensure successful coverage and reimbursement decisions to maximize patient access for our portfolio
- Drive Health Technology Assessment (HTAs) with value evidence adopting Global Value proposition into local value proposition
- Initiate local payer/provider interactions with value evidence
- Negotiate the best price for our products
- Manage the repricing of our products
Responsibilities:
- Initiate the most effective and timely strategyto obtain market access for products by managing timely preparation submission and followup of pricing and reimbursement files
- Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy during the life cycle of products by working closely with Medical Marketing & Sales to secure broad product access for Amgen new and existing product portfolio
- Take leadership of HTAs at the national level in close collaboration with Medical and Commercial colleagues
- Value Evidence Generation in scope of dossiers and publications
- Anticipate changing payer landscape maintaining deep understanding of payers including emerging trends that might impact Amgen products
- Drive reimbursement/pricing negotiationswith payers
- Manage repricing of products internally and externally
- Keep EU and global colleagues informed about and seek support on all ongoing submissions

What we expect of you
We are all different yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Value and Access Manager professional we seek is a Manager with these qualifications:
- Academic education (Master of Science MBA or PhD in Economics Health Services Research)
- >5 years experience in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company or related consultancy or within government or HTA body
- Fluency in oral and written English and fluencyin Greek is essential
- Experience in Greek healthcare environment
- Experience in complex HEOR issues and in communicating about it to nonexperts
- Strong analytical skills and well experienced in working with Excel
- Solid project management skills for multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues to propose innovative solutions
- Strong crossfunctional leadership within the organization and ability to drive and influence peers in complex (matrix) organization
- Experience in negotiations will be considered a plus
- Experience with the Cyprus healthcare system we be considered a plus
