Summary
This role is for skilled operators working within a variety of roles focused on the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft parts for civil and military programmes.
The role will include a range of tasks and the successful applicant should demonstrate flexibility and work effectively as part of a larger multidisciplined team
Essential Responsibilities:
Read and follow manufacturing plans
Ensure quality and health & safety adherence
Follow daily manufacturing metrics
Participate in lean activities and other initiatives
Support manufacturing delivery needs
Work in teams to achieve delivery targets
Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards
Qualifications/Requirements:
General electronics and mechanical assembly work
Ability to recognise and identify components
Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions
Good concentration and attention to detail
Able to produce work of high quality
Dextrous and able to work on small products
A flexible and cooperative approach
Appreciation of health and safety practice in the workplace
Experience of selfdirected work teams and teaming
Awareness of customer expectations and business requirements
Communication and time keeping skills.
Selfmotivated with a positive cando attitude
