St. Francis de Sales Elementary (SFDS) is a Kindergarten to Grade 7 Catholic elementary school close to transit (SkyTrain and bus) in South Burnaby a burgeoning area in the Metro Vancouver region. We have a dynamic team of educators who love their faith their students and their families and one another. JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Francis de Sales Elementary(SFDS) is seeking a PartTime (0.4 FTE) Kindergarten Teacher for the school year. Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith demonstrate competency with the redesigned curriculum including interactive technology and be willing to work in a team atmosphere with the support of our excellent learning resource teacher and our dedicated education assistants.
At our school we prioritize fostering a collaborative environment where our educators work closely together to instill our core values as we develop and deliver an engaging curriculum. The successful candidate would be responsible for teaching all subject areas except PE French and Music as well as assist with extracurricular programs and activities that would hopefully align with your interests.
Education and Certification
- Bachelors Degree in Education (BEd)
- Valid BC Ministry of Education and Childcare teaching certificate
- Five years teaching experience at the primary level
Compensation
- Competitive compensation and benefits package with salary range of $64 647 $97 895 (pro rata per annum).
