Overview
Join a dynamic engineering team developing cost estimates for cuttingedge renewable energy and infrastructure projects. As a Lead Project Estimator youll leverage your expertise in conceptual engineering and value engineering to ensure project success while working on exciting technologies including wind solar energy storage and hydrogen innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of detailed project cost estimates from conceptual to definitive stages
- Perform conceptual engineering design and develop preliminary construction plans
- Conduct value engineering to identify costsaving opportunities
- Develop and maintain estimation tools databases and methodologies
- Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans
- Present cost analyses to senior management and stakeholders
- Mentor junior estimators and foster knowledge sharing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
- 7 years of experience in project estimating conceptual engineering and project design
- Experience with utilityscale energy projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods materials and equipment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
