The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate FullStack Software Engineer to join the FishTools program within the Ground Mission Management Software (GMM) team in Chantilly VA or Aurora CO.

The FishTools program develops and maintains a Collection Planning and Mission Management system widely used within the Intelligence community. This software system has become an integral part of imaging operations by facilitating the scheduling analysis and mission awareness of multiple space imaging platforms.

This program has been around for 35 years and executes both sustainment and new development efforts. Sustainment efforts offer enterprisewide solutions to maintain and enhance the current operational system. New development efforts take system changes and enhancements to increased levels of new technology capabilities and system/mission integration.

Were seeking a highly talented motivated and creative software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of an agile software program for the national intelligence community. The ideal candidate for the Senior Software Engineer position will not only possess exceptional technical expertise but also bring strong leadership and mentorship skills to inspire and elevate our development team.

Primary Responsibilities:
Software development tasks including detailed software design coding and testing of customer desired features/user stories.
Analyzing customer requirements and ensuring software implementations meet functional requirements.
Briefing software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to peers.
Develop and sustain new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture. The existing multitiered system is developed on a cloud infrastructure with several consumerfacing web applications.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Active TopSecret U.S. Security Clearance. (US Citizenship is required) (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). This position also requires SCI eligibility.
Must be willing to sit for a CI Polygraph after start date.
1 years of experience with foundational Computer Science knowledge and objectoriented design and software patterns
1 years of experience with objectoriented software development (C/C Java)
Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub IBM Rational Team Concert etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
Experience with one or more of the following: Java HTML 5 CSS 3 JavaScript Firebug and JS frameworks (REACT jQuery jQuery UI Open Layers etc.) Spring Framework Hibernate RDBMS MongoDB XML SOAP REST WSDL/Web Service protocols
Experience using dependency management (Ivy Maven Gradle)
Experience developing and maintaining SOAP RMI REST APIs and interfaces
Experience using cloudbased infrastructure (AWS)
Experience using automation server (Jenkins)
Experience/knowledge of the GEOINT domain
Familiarity with practices such as testdriven development (TDD) agile software development continuous integration and dependency management is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices including daily standup User Stories Sprints and Release Planning
Security Certification such as Security or CISSP
