Job Description

We seek someone who shares our values and can build a culture of inclusion and belonging that allows students to thrive socially emotionally and Foundational Skills:Introducing and reinforcing letter recognition phonics numbers basic math concepts and early literacy skills and concepts utilizing various learning modes such as handson approaches and lowfloor highceiling tasks. Familiarity with UFLI Orton Gillingham All Learners Network Bookworms and Illustrative would be beneficial. Assessment and Observation:Regularly observe student progress evaluate their performance through various assessments and adjust the curriculum accordingly. Regular communication with parents and administration regarding progress monitoring and socialemotional developments is required. Classroom Management:Maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment establishing clear expectations for behavior and enforcing expectations to ensure a positive learning with Responsive Classroom and PBIS would be beneficial. Communication and Collaboration:Communicating regularly with parents about their childs progress collaborating with other teachers and staff members and participating in professional development a Positive Learning Environment:Fostering a love of learning nurturing social and emotional development and promoting positive student relationships through the use of the abovementioned values.
