Job Description
The Mount Abraham Unified School District (MAUSD) is seeking an Educational Assistant to support our youngest learners in our PreK program housed at Bristol Elementary School. The Educational Assistant supports the PreK classroom teacher in delivering individualized services that foster childrens development in motor skills communication cognition and social/selfhelp skills. This role is essential in ensuring a supportive engaging and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners. Primary responsibilities:Under the supervision of a certified teacher the Educational Assistant may be assigned responsibilities including but not limited to: Assists in providing individualized oneonone support in academic speechlanguage and motor skill areas as directed by the classroom teacher EEP Director and/or SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP). Supporting classroom and playground activities in collaboration with teaching staff. Helping maintain a safe nurturing inclusive and organized classroom environment. Reinforcing classroom and schoolwide rules and policies in alignment with School Board Policies. Participating in team meetings as needed. Performing other duties as is a fulltime unionized schoolyear position with hours from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The pay range is $22.46 to $26.95 per hour.
