The Brand Marketing team a key group within the overall Marketing team at CIG is responsible for building foundational plans for projects and promotions with emphasis on their associated marketing strategy also for working across the company and beyond to execute globally through the mix of functional disciplines so that goals and strategies are met.
The Global Brand Manager is an expert guardian and advocate for assigned projects and promotions within the portfolio with responsibility for the creation of integrated marketing plans and their execution. The Global Brand Manager will partner with a diverse range of partners across product development functional marketing teams and external partners as applicable to inform collaborate and execute for overall benefit to the business.
Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) is a new kind of independent studio dedicated to delivering AAA games outside the established publisher system. Cloud Imperium Games is creating STAR CITIZEN a recordshattering largely crowdfunded space sim and SQUADRON 42 a storydriven singleplayer game set in the same universe that stars a wideranging cast of top Hollywood talent. CIG operates in open development sharing progress and updates in near real time. This paradigmshifting development process (game development usually occurs behind closed doors) gives the community an unprecedented look at the development of STAR CITIZEN and SQUADRON 42 and allows direct feedback and interaction between players and developers ensuring that the games being developed are what players want to play.

Reporting to the Content Directormanage datadriven innovative consumerdriven marketing strategies; and oversee the tactical execution of game content launches and own gotomarket planning.
Partner with and manage crossfunctional teams and game development teams to solidifyplans and flawlessly execute.
Act as the steward across the multiple Cloud Imperium IPs and brands.
Conduct competitive and market analysis to aid strategic commercial planning and postmortem reporting on plan execution.
Work with Creative Director to deliver best in class creative executions. Creative executionsyoull be involved in managing may include but arent limited to: Web Trailers Social MediaPromotions and Events.
Work with and manage third party vendors launch partners and external stakeholders.
Manage asset delivery and liaison with internal development and production.
Be a knowledge expert on our games and Star Citizen universe. Use this knowledge to identifypositionings and value propositions with various target audiences. Manage how we reachthose audiences and communicate this positioning creatively to them
What do we expect from our Brand Manager
3 years of experience in a brand marketing role in the gaming sector ideally working across AAA game titles.
Extensive knowledge of brand management and positioning and can craft compelling consumer propositions to varied audiences.
Has taken AAA titles from planning stages through to live release and beyond.
Able to work with other teams and disciplines to complement and support each others plansand objectives.
Be an independent thinker who can make convincing informationbased decisions.
Extensive knowledge of video games and their respective communities.
Detailoriented and driven to organize and reprioritize tasks and decisions under regularlyshifting requirements and deadlines.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance marketing and communication strategies to thenext level.
