Job Description

St Josephs is a Catholic EREA (Edmund Rice Education Australia) Boys Secondary College with an enrolment of over 1800 students. This college community is committed to the safety wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. We aim to create a childsafe and childfriendly environment where children are free to enjoy life to the full without any concern for their safety. There is particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability.

Canteen Assistant

Part Time Ongoing FTE 0.66 (25 hours per week)

Commencing 30 June 2025 (negotiable)

The College is seeking an ongoing Part Time Canteen Assistant commencing 30 June 2025 (negotiable). The Canteen Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient running of the school canteen at the Edmund Rice Campus. They also provide support to organising catering for a variety of events and meetings conducted at the College.

All individuals employed by the College need to have a Working with Children (Employee) Card and a National Police Record Check.

Salary is in line with the Catholic Education MultiEnterprise Agreement 2022.
