Position: Certified Special Education Teacher
Salary: $60000 up to $63000 annually depending on related experience
Schedule: Hours worked will be based on the 10month school calendar
Location: Homestead area of Pittsburgh Pa

Devereux/TCV Community Services is Hiring for a Certified Special Education Teacher for its Day Academy!!!
As a Special Education Teacher you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping children with special needs learn.
Position Overview:
Devereux/TCV Community Services in Homestead PA provides programs and services for children with intellectual disabilities autism spectrum disorder and dual diagnoses. The Special Education Teacher also provides additional services such as testing assessment IEP updates and other duties as directed by the School Principal.

*Prospective employee hired for this position will receive a $3000 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first half of the bonus ($1500) after the successful completion of 90 calendar days of employment the second half of the bonus will be awarded after the successful completion of 10 months of employment.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in education required.
- Active Special Education Instructional I or II Pennsylvania Teacher Certification required.
- Experience with Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support strategies.
- Special Education Teacher experience required.
