Job Description
As the largest provider of IT services Leidos develops and sustains large data and technology infrastructures and integrates complex law enforcement IT system for a number of US federal agencies. Primary Responsibilities:
oDevelops creates and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
oAnalyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
oDesigns or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
oAnalyzes and designs databases within an application area working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
oResearches designs develops and tests operating systemslevel software compilers and network distribution software for medical industrial military communications aerospace business scientific and general computing applications.
oSets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
oDesigns embedded systems software.
oProvides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
oEstablishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
oHas domain and expert technical knowledge.
oDirects and controls activities for a client having overall responsibility for financial management methods and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
oInteractions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
oDecisionmaking and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
oMay supervise others.
Basic Qualifications:
oBachelors Degree in Software Engineering Computer Science Information Systems
oManagement other related discipline or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
o1215 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 1013 years of prior relevant experience
oAbility to work well within a small team environment
oStrong communication skills
oUS Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
oExperience with software product development
oAgile Experience
oSoftware development tools: JIRA Confluence
oLanguages/frameworks: JIRA
oSource control tools: GIT
oDOD Secret Clearance is required.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
