Job Description
Position Purpose:
Drive and oversee projects; optimizing existing tools rolling out new systems and enabling users to adopt efficient streamlined workflows. Support users in using both new and existing systems and software.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinate conversion of existing procedures into more efficient systems in Teamcenter.
2. Architect new system enhancements. Understand stakeholders scope requirements and draft specifications.
3. Lead testing initiatives for new systems and software ensuring that software errors are mitigated and the systems function as intended.
4. Lead the implementation of specific project launches while ensuring project deliverables are achieved and due dates are maintained.
5. Orchestrate intercompany communication support to facilitate understanding and improvement of Hendrickson systems and processes.
6. Promote appropriate communication with users / system participants by informing them of advances and improvements.
7. Provide IT support of assigned systems and software including but not limited to Creo and Teamcenter.
8. Ensure assigned systems work efficiently and effectively while assisting users with how to utilize the systems when needed.
9. Develop instructional resources that can be used for onboarding new users and as a reference for existing users.
10. Facilitate training and provide support to new and existing users.
11. Conduct research and analysis on the most effective way to conduct new product development and product introduction. Simultaneously assist in writing development plans.
Education and Training
- Bachelors degree in engineering/sciences an IT related field or related work experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 25 years of Engineering IT or Product Lifecycle Management Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- High competence with software and computer systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with high technical competency.
Physical Demands
- Frequent sitting; will work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Limited travel.

- Ability to lead teams foster team engagement and coordinate team member efforts.
