Job Description

Director of Instruction and AssessmentStart Date: July 1 2025Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning the Director of Instruction and Assessment will be responsible for the development implementation and evaluation of the curriculum and instructional practices of the district. This person will work collaboratively with teachers administrators and other stakeholders to ensure a highquality educational experience for all students. Additionally this person will analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and to maintain an environment of continuous improvement districtwide Qualifications include:Prior experience as a classroom teacher and school administrator requiredExperience in integrating technology into daily instructionExperience with strategic planning and implementation of curricular programming Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in managing all state and local assessments
