Wage: $11.60 plus tips
Join the Sheraton Sioux Falls Waters food and beverage team and work in our beautiful atrium atmosphere. We are located by Denny Sanford Premier Center and Sioux Falls Convention Center where all the best events happen. Our guests include international travelers concert goers sports teams business travelers and families as well as locals. If you enjoy variety in your work this position is for you!
What you will do to provide exceptionaland professionalservice to our guests:
Dispense alcoholic beverages and control service to ensure accordance with liquor laws and company policies and regulations;
Perform side duties such as cleaning sanitizing garnish preparation miscellaneousfood and beveragepreparation stocking etc.;
Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time;
Completedaily opening andclosing duties;
Account for all cash and secure money drops according to company policy;
Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing;
Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of crosscontamination.Keep compartment sink side boards and refrigerators clean and sanitized.
Date and rotate foodon a daily basis;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and
Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Six(6)months of previousbartender experience
Required Licenses/ Certification:
Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment.
Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment
Physical:
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally
Able to lift 10lbs regularly
Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible towork eveningsnightsweekends and holidays
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
