We are seeking a visionary and wellconnected Business Development Manager to join a prestigious culinary academy in Saudi Arabia. The academy is committed to empowering the next generation of culinary leaders through educational excellence innovation and community engagement.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in training consulting or academia who have a strong network across government entities universities and corporate partners. You will drive the academys growth and visibility locally and internationally by cultivating strategic partnerships increasing student enrolment and generating revenue through creative business initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Partnership Development
- Build strong partnerships with government institutions universities training centres and industry stakeholders.
- Engage with corporate sponsors hospitality groups and NGOs to support the academys mission and broaden its reach.
Student Recruitment & Sponsorship Growth
- Drive student enrolment by leveraging your professional network and initiating sponsorship and scholarship programmes.
- Support the development of outreach campaigns to attract aspiring culinary professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Revenue Generation & Strategic Growth
- Secure new revenue streams through fundraising sponsorships corporate training programmes and short courses.
- Lead the development of new business opportunities that align with the academys longterm goals.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform the development of relevant and forwardthinking academic offerings.
- Identify opportunities for expansion partnerships and diversification of the academys portfolio.
Marketing Collaboration & Brand Building
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Communications and Design teams to develop highimpact marketing initiatives.
- Represent the academy at events exhibitions and community engagements to build visibility and credibility.
Alumni & Community Engagement
- Establish and maintain an active alumni network to foster longterm relationships and advocacy.
- Leverage alumni success stories in marketing and partnership discussions.
Team Leadership & Budget Oversight
- Lead mentor and develop a highperforming business development team.
- Manage departmental budgets to optimise resources and ensure financial sustainability.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Education or Hospitality Management.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in business development training consultancy or academic partnerships preferably in education F&B or hospitality sectors.
- Demonstrated success in building partnerships growing student enrolment and delivering business growth.
- Strong professional network within government universities or industry partners in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent leadership communication and strategic planning skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is highly preferred.
