Job Description:
The SOC Monitoring Analyst is responsible for monitoring alerts and getting them actioned in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor alerts from BMC Helix ControlM Azure Monitor Oracle Infrastructure Monitor SolarWinds and Nagios.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal system uptime.
- Perform routine system administration tasks including user management file system management and backup/restore operations.
- Assist in implementing system upgrades and patches adhering to best practices and change management procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve crossfunctional issues and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps to maintain an uptodate knowledge base.
- Participate in oncall rotations and respond to system emergencies promptly.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the monitoring and IT infrastructure space.
- Create bridge calls and involve the right stakeholders to drive resolutions and find root causes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science / information technology / or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of proven experience as a Monitoring Analyst.
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools such as BMC Helix ControlM Azure Monitor Oracle Infrastructure Monitor SolarWinds and Nagios.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure OCI or VMware is an added advantage.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced 24x7 support environment.
Work Environment:
- This is a fulltime position.
- Candidates must be ready to work 5 days a week from Mumbai office.
- Candidates should be ready to work in rotational schedules / shifts and supporting 24x7 operations.
