Inspire the next generation of healthy living at Meridian High School were seeking a passionate and dedicated Health & Nutrition/Food Technology Teacher to join us on a permanent basis from September.
Your Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspiring Health & Nutrition / Food Technology Teacher to join Meridian High School on a permanent basis from September. Youll be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching lessons to students in Years 7 to 11 helping them develop essential life skills and a strong understanding of healthy living. As part of a supportive faculty youll play a key role in driving student progress fostering positive attitudes towards learning and contributing to a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status with honours degree
- Proven experience teaching Health & Nutrition/Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
- Strong commitment to raising achievement for students of all abilities
- Confident using data and ICT to inform teaching planning and student progress
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Resilient selfmotivated and wellorganised with a positive and enthusiastic outlook
- Passionate about continuous professional development and reflective practice
- Strong communication skills and ability to inspire respect and confidence
- Committed to safeguarding and maintaining appropriate boundaries with students
- Values aligned with GLF Schools core ethos and mission
