Position: Electronic Security Technician
Location: Richmond VA
Territory: Richmond and Surrounding Areas
Compensation: $52000 $75000 (Based on Experience and Certifications) Additional pay for Oncall schedule.
A leading regional Security Integration firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronic Security Technician to join our growing team in the Richmond VA area. About the Role:
As an Electronic Security Technician youll be responsible for both service calls and new installations with a heavy focus on hospital and medical facility accounts. These environments require a high level of professionalism attention to detail and technical expertise. Most projects are completed in small collaborative teams so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Access Control CCTV and Intrusion Detection systems
- Install and configure new security systems in a variety of environments including healthcare facilities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Ensure compliance with safety privacy and industry regulations especially in medical settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- 2 years of experience in electronic security systems
- Familiarity with platforms such as LenelS2 Genetec Avigilon RS2 AMAG or similar
- Experience working in hospital or medical environments is highly preferred
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive learning mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team settings
- Relevant certifications in Access Control CCTV or Intrusion Systems are a plus
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the Richmond region
