Position Purpose:
The Home Depot is the worlds #1 home improvement retailer with over $150B in annual sales. Our marketing efforts are critical in strengthening our brand connecting with customers and driving traffic and sales across all channels.
The Marketing Strategy team leads the development of insightdriven strategies that shape how we show up in the market and where we focus to drive growth. This includes identifying strategic opportunities defining key marketing priorities and developing multiyear visions and roadmaps. The team leads the annual planning process sets short and longterm goals and supports in allocating resources to the highestimpact initiatives. They work closely with partners across the organization to align marketing strategies with business objectivesusing data customer insights and market intelligence to guide decisionmaking and build strong business cases for future investments.
Key Responsibilities:
50% Strategic Projects & Initiative Development
Lead major marketing strategy initiatives build business cases and drive execution
15% CrossFunctional Alignment
Collaborate with teams across the enterprise to align marketing strategies and priorities
15% Annual & MultiYear Planning
Support planning cycles helping define marketing priorities and longterm roadmaps
10% Market & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor trends and competitors to inform strategy and identify opportunities
10% Executive Communication & Strategic Storytelling
Develop materials and insights for senior leaders including Board and Officerlevel presentations

Previous work experience in marketing strategy business planning or brand management or in professional services (e.g. strategy consulting supporting Marketing organizations)
Minimum of 68 years of relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills with experience using customer insights market research and performance data to inform decisions.
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and manage crossfunctionally
High degree of drive and personal ownership
Comfort with framing and addressing ambiguous challenges
