POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
ELearning Program at Midland HighSchool

Salary Range:$47547$102907 (experienced based salary protection available)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the eLearning class at the high school throughout the school day
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping (attendance grades communication logs).
- Work with building counselors to load students into the correct online classes during the school year
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom
- Support summer learning opportunities both inperson and virtually under the direction of the Virtual LearningCoordinator
- Promote online learning opportunities
- Motivate students for success
- Maintain consistent communication with students families teachers administrators and other interested parties
- Work with Edgenuity and MPS computer technicians to ensure quality control
- Work with computer technicians to troubleshoot equipment and material issues
- Work with building Administrators Virtual Learning Coordinator and curriculum coordinators to maintain the integrity of the MPS Virtual Learning options.
- Collaborate with the MPS staff to ensure the accuracy of grades at the end of each semester.
- Maintain security of virtual programs
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Attend IEP meetings as required
- Monitor tests to ensure Academic Integrity
- Grade assignments
- Monitor student pacing and implement strategies to establish and maintain satisfactory progress
- Use a variety of computer programs including Synergy Imagine Edgenuity GoGuardian Google Meets etc. to support student learning
- Provide tutoring or supplemental materials and/or refer students to subjectarea tutors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience with using a computer computer troubleshooting and online learning
- Strong teaching background
- Highly organized able to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated flexibility in decisionmaking and working with students
