Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Plans develops coordinates and administers a facility construction renovation maintenance and repair program for the institution in accordance with building plans and specifications and in compliance with health and environmental standards.
- Position requires experience in HVAC electrical fire alarms PA/Intercom systems kitchen equipment plumbing sprinkler systems general carpentry etc.

- State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:A high school diploma and experience in the installation maintenance or repair of air water gas or waste disposal systems. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a yearforyear basis.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).- A High School diploma.
- Four (4) years of extensive working knowledge of principles and techniques of general maintenance and repairs kitchen equipment plumbing HVAC etc.
- Including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
