Riverside University Health System has aper diem Clinical Pharmacist opportunity available with the Emergency/Critical Care/Inpatientdepartments of the Medical Center located in Moreno Valley CA. Shifts are 1012 hours nights primarily but may rotate through days as needed with aminimum of one shift per week required (additional hours are available). The candidate pool created from this posting may be used to fill future per diem vacancies; all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities related to this position:
OPTION I
Education: Graduation from a School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm. D.). Pharm D. is required for all per diem positions currently.
Experience: One year of pharmacy residency preferred.
OPTION II
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in pharmacy.
Experience: Three years of professionallevel experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or healthcare facility.
ALL OPTIONS
License or Certificate:Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Licentiate in Pharmacy issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy and fulfillment of the continuing education requirements.
Possession of a current and maintained Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate issued by the American Heart Association.
Knowledge of: Federal Board of Pharmacy Joint Commission and DHS laws regulations and guidelines pertaining to patient care and dispensing of legend and nonlegend pharmaceuticals and poisons; good customer (physicians nurses and patient) service; professional standards and practices.
Ability to: Provide quality pharmaceutical care; communicate clearly and effectively; work cooperatively with other staff and healthcare providers; organize and manage routine and new responsibilities; retrieve and process patient and medication information; properly supervise and direct the work of supportive pharmacy personnel.

PreEmployment
