About the role:
As a Assistant Product Designer at Paytm you will report to the Senior Product Design Manager and collaborate with a diverse team of designers product managers and engineers. Your goal will be to create intuitive userfriendly and delightful design solutions that drive our product vision forward.
Responsibilities:
Design Execution: Own and drive design projects from ideation to delivery ensuring that design solutions are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
UserCentric Approach: Conduct user research and usability testing incorporating insights to improve design outcomes.
Prototyping & Wireframing: Develop prototypes and wireframes to clearly communicate design ideas and gather stakeholders feedback.
Design System Contribution: Collaborate on the evolution of Paytms design system ensuring consistency across platforms.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers engineers and other stakeholders to bring designs to life balancing user needs with business goals.
Feedback Integration: Engage in design reviews accept feedback and continuously refine designs to enhance the user experience.
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role
Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in product design with a strong diverse portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and successful projects.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of usercentred design principles and proficiency with tools like Figma Adobe Creative Suite Vercel or similar AIpowered design and prototyping tools.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical skills to transform complex problems into simple elegant design solutions.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills able to articulate design decisions and work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Adaptability: Experience in working in a fastpaced environment embracing feedback and iterating on designs.
