We are looking for a highly motivated customer centric Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) with a deep experience in testing methodologies and automation who is enthusiastic about the new technology offered to consumers. You should seize this opportunity if you have a passion for customer needs a deep understanding of web applications and mobile apps and proven automation should also work with groups such as Product Management User Interaction and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate realworld environments and regression tests and driving the software development process towards qualitycentric methodologies.

Key job responsibilities
Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test applications and products at the user level and code level both manually and with automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers they are able to understand software internals debug problems using log files and write automated tests with Scripting tools and/or userlevel automated tools. QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion with minimal help. QAEs would be responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning coming up with the test cases driving the test case signoff processes with the stakeholders contributing to code level tests test execution and reporting.

4 years of quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in manual testing
Experience in automation testing
Experience scripting or coding
Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
