About the Role
We are looking for a Theatre Assistant to join our Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Unit department at Greenslopes Private Hospital we provide gastroenterology and minor procedure care across ten procedural rooms.
As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assembling and managing theatre case setups in accordance with operating lists displaying attention to detail
- The care and maintenance of various equipment associated with the Theatre Department
- To be available in a general capacity to assist theatre staff
- To assist with reprocessing endoscopes
Your Skills and Experience
You will be a selfmotivated individual with the ability to work effectively according to directions. You will bring exceptional communication skills a strong customer focus and thrive in fast paced environment.
You will also demonstrate:
- Completion of a Certificate III in Health Services is desirable.
- Endoscope reprocessing experience is desirable
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a highperforming team.
- Previous experience in a theatre / hospital environment
Remuneration
On offer is an attractive base salary superannuation. Based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
