About the role
Lead in Advanced Cardiac Imaging Provide expert support in Interventional Cardiology using highlevel skills across Angiography Radiation Safety QA PACS and complex imaging tools like IVUS OCT and IABP.
Radiation Safety & Education Champion Deliver training for multidisciplinary teams in best practices of radiation hygiene and safety while mentoring students and junior staff in a highperformance learning environment.
Clinical Innovation & Quality Drive excellence through protocol development clinical reviews and contribution to national/international conferences. Play a key role in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Independent DecisionMaker Confidently manage complex cases troubleshoot technical issues and ensure optimal operation of imaging equipment and databases (including Siemens Sensis and related platforms).
Collaborative & Professional Leader Work autonomously while maintaining strong communication with the broader Allied Health team doctors and nurses ensuring seamless patientfocused service delivery.
About you
Were seeking a confident and skilled Radiographer who thrives in a highperformance clinical environment. Youll be a vital part of our Interventional Cardiology team bringing expertise energy and a patientfirst mindset.
Qualified & Licensed You hold a Bachelor of Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent with current AHPRA registration and a valid NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
Expert in Radiation & Safety You bring strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and consistently apply them in clinical practice to protect patients and colleagues.
CardiologySavvy & Technically Sharp You have handson experience in interventional cardiology procedures with solid ECG rhythm recognition and haemodynamic monitoring. Cardiac CT experience is a plus.
Independent & Agile You can prioritise and perform under pressure make sound decisions autonomously and adapt quickly in a fastpaced setting.
TeamDriven & Communicative You collaborate effortlessly with multidisciplinary teams lead by example and communicate clearly both in person and through digital platforms like RIS and PACS.
