The Regional Development Officer is responsible for managing sales growth and opportunities across multiple Tri City branch locations. The Regional Development Officer will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of clients and prospects. New customer relationships will be led by the Regional Development Officer through collaboration with branch staff and other bank partners. The Regional Development Officer will be the face of Tri City National Bank for the customer base and communities of their assigned region.

Compensation $75000 annually depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Secure new business with prospects and existing customers within portfolio
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and business partnerships
  • Own the relationship with the customer be the face of Tri City manage customers questions/expectations and pursue opportunities to expand portfolio of products and services based on customer needs
  • Develop internal relationships with other business lines (Commercial Banking Mortgage Lending Business Services)
  • Accompany Branch Managers and Relationship Bankers on businesstobusiness visits to bridge communication and build relationships
  • Develop branch frontline staff on effective sales techniques and calling strategies
  • Provide support for branch sales campaigns
  • Work with marketing and social media team to effectively market to customers and potential customers
  • Perform any additional duties special projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associate degree preferred or equivalent bank work experience
  • Minimum of 57 years of bank/sales experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ethical team player
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Ability to proactively solicit new business
  • Thorough knowledge of the Banks products and services
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory policy and compliance issues
  • Proven background in sales and sales management practices
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Takes ownership of issues and exhibits strong problemsolving skills
  • Experience with branch operations
  • Experience with consumer lendingincluding first mortgage origination a plus
