Under general supervision of the HR Employee Relations Manager the People Experience (PX) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the HR Business Partner team in support of their respective Divisions and Departments on all activities ranging from employee relations performance management (including KPI setting) change management support for structure changes and organization support.
This role collaborates with and influence key stakeholders at multiple levels throughout the organization to analyze multiple levels of employeerelated data to identify risks and gaps and partners with L&D to conduct positive workplace relations trainings that drives best practices. The PX Supervisor has critical responsibilities focused on partnering with different departments/divisions for high level employee relations issues scaling CCRCs processes as needed and evolving CCRCs employee value proposition strategy.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Within a team environment this position will perform the following responsibilities:
Supervision (60%)
- Apply employee relations expertise to work with HRBPS to successfully identify trends gaps and challenges to execute solutionfocused strategies and programs to mitigate risks.
- Work with HRBP team to present complex solutions and suggestions across all levels of the organization including senior leaders though frontline employees.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in proposed disciplinary actions performance development and associated documentation through guidance collaboration and consultation with HRBPs Departments and Divisions they support.
Organizational Support (25%)
- In partnership with HR Employee Relations Manager exercise strong analytical skills using data to develop persuasive narratives and recommendations to division directors to further advance CCRC people strategies and meet P&C goals.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions acts as an advisor to the HRBPs and business leaders on issues relating to policy interpretation and employee relations.
- Effectively manage a variety of HR People Experience related projects as needed.
Organizational Change Management (15%)
- Work with HRBP team on organizational change management needs to ensure consistency and compliance on key people decisions (such as job description updates disparate impact analysis comp and internal equity reviews alignment with overall business strategy) across the Agency.
NonEssential Duties And Responsibilities
These duties include tasks that are required and comprise less than 5% of daily functions for this job:
- Assists with guidance on compensation questions to ensure internal equity.
- May support facilitation and/or development of other HRrelated trainings (e.g. New Hire Orientation Supervisor Orientation etc).

Job Specifications
Minimum Required
- Education/Experience: BA/BS in Human Resources Business Administration or related field from fouryear College or University; or minimum of (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Business Partner experience with a focus in Employee Relations including 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Technical Requirements:
- Must have advanced knowledge of general office procedures and demonstrate excellent organizational and computer skills specifically in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook email.
- Ability to type 50 wpm.
- Behavioral:
- Analyze information results to choose the best solution/solve problems.
- Effectively build relationships with customers management and other stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution.
- Maintain cooperative diplomatic working relationships with coworkers & supervisors; work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues while maintaining a positive work ethic.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment and decision making skills.
- Travel: This position requires travel. Travel may involve driving to CCRCs ancillary offices (Sylmar San Bernardino Victorville Antelope Valley) may be required on an asneeded basis. Staff may choose any mode of transportation (driving walking bicycling carpooling etc.) to arrive to and depart from the location where attendance is required. Should a staff member choose to drive the staff member must become an approved driver with CCRC prior to driving on behalf of CCRC. Approved drivers driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance current California Drivers License and receiving DMV clearance.

- Work environment: Working hybrid in a home / office work environment; ambient temperature and noises indoors
- Background & Health Clearance Requirements: Background check required. As a grantfunded Agency supporting Children and Family Services CCRC conducts background checks commensurate with the role to verify candidate qualifications (criminal history employment history / experience education reference checks) and ensure grant compliance. Specific roles may have additional verification / clearance to the standard background check as part of the recruitment and selection process including:
- Live Scan Clearance / DOJ Fingerprinting: For positions working directly with the public in a child/ community care or child / community care adjacent setting (CA Health and Safety Code Section1596.871 and/or Head Start Program Performance Standards 1302.90).
- Health Clearance: For positions working directly with the public in a child/ community care or child / community care adjacent setting or working with at risk populations CA Code of Regulations TitleCA Health and Safety Code 1596.7995 and/or Head Start Program Performance Standards 1302.93)
- MVR / DMV clearance in accordance with CCRCs liability insurance provisions: For positions where driving is required.
- Child Development Permit: For positions working in an educational capacity (California Education Code Sections 44242.5 44340 and 44341)
- CPR / Pediatric CPR certification: For certain identified positions working directly with the public in a child/ community care or child / community care adjacent setting (CA Health & Safety Code 1596..866)
- Federal Debarment Checks: For positions acting in a principal capacity to federal funds (Head Start Program Performance Standards 1304.11 Code of Federal Regulations Title 2 Grants and Agreements 2.180.320 and 2.180.995)
