POSITION STATEMENT: Williamstown Elementary School a school within the Mount Greylock Regional School District seeks a dedicated compassionate and highly skilled School Social Worker to serve as the driving force behind the schools student support services. The successful candidate will deliver responsive and proactive support to students and lead and coordinate a comprehensive support framework across the school. We are looking for a collaborative leader who can inspire teamwork among colleagues strengthen partnerships with families and outside agencies and ensure that every student is supported socially emotionally and behaviorally through a strong multitiered system of support (MTSS).Qualifications:Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling or a related field Massachusetts DESE licensure as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor (PreK8) ability to lead collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and build trusting relationships with students staff and understanding of MTSS frameworks and experience designing and implementing SEL and behavioral interventions in school with traumainformed practices restorative approaches and equitycentered student support knowledge of IEP/504 processes and capacity to support students with diverse learning and behavioral communication organizational and interpersonal of 13 years experience in school or clinical settings or multilingual candidates are encouraged to & Essential Functions (which include but are not limited to):Foster meaningful connections with students staff and families becoming a goto support and valued presence throughout the school as a resource and partner with instructional staff supporting student wellbeing and behavior in the a leadership role in the coordination of student support services including Student Support Team (SST) meetings to identify needs and track student closely with teachers administrators and support staff to develop and carry out track and evaluate targeted MTSS individual and smallgroup counseling that supports students emotional wellbeing social development and academic and promote equity inclusion and culturally responsive practices throughout all student support staff professional learning and offer consultative support around student behavior mental health traumainformed practices and engage with families to build strong trusting relationships and connect them with communitybased resources and role in crisis response and intervention efforts; contribute to schoolwide safety climate and wellness compliance with federal state and district regulations including documentation and reporting duties as & Compensation:Annual salary range: $50474 $110081 commensurate with education and & dental plans: Comprehensive options include Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO PPO and POS plans.
